No they dont. for a few weeks afterwards hair and fingernails keep growing. They slow down to a stop after a week or so but for the first week after death, the body will keep growing as per normal. It's only when the cells begin to die out and cannot be replaced (the brain aint sending messages to grow new cells) is when things stop/slow growing.

Heh. You are both right.
PZ, you are right because true spelling is good.
Aidin is right because cambridge university (woohoo go us Brits) have proved that the brain reads a word as a whole, rather than the individual letters. They achieved this by having, as Aidin has, words where the first and last letters are the same, and the middle ones all jumbled up. The brain reads the word as a whole - thats why its difficult to spot spelling errors in long books because you read it fast and then brain skips out on the errors and reads the word.
