Ryu and Leon sat down and began eating rice. They talked about some random things, revolving around Black Cat and Eyeshield 21.

Caroline unpacked her lunch and started eating her sandwhich silently as she stared at the flower. Every once and a while she would glace around the room. She spooted Ryu and Leon and as often as she stared at the flower, her eyes wandered over to him as well.

Ryu and Leon talked together for a while, and they sat the rest in silence as Leon began drawing and Ryu threw would-be-casual glances at Caroline.

Caroline noticed that Ryu had glanced at her several times as well and blushed deeply when they made eye contact.

Ryu blushed slightly and smiled at her. Then he looked at the clock for a while, counting down the seconds.

The bell rang and Caroline and her friends stood up. "Alright, I'll see you guys after school, I've got totally different classes..." "Alright, later Caroline!" Her friends all chimed and waved as they walked to opposite way she did.

Ryu and Leon yawned. "What next?"
"Chemistry." Leon rolled his eyes, but Ryu whooped. "That class is so easy." And they walked to Chem.

Caroline walked to her next class, World Lit. and sighed when she saw no one she knew in her class. She ploped down in a random seat and waited for class to start.

Ryu and Leon sat in Chemistry and listened to the boring beginning-of-the-year lecture. "Ugh..."

Caroline stared down at the crystal flower and cleaned it every once and a while. The bell rang and she jumped, dropping the flower, it shattered on the floor and she gasped. "No!" She cried and tried to collect it all, but it was useless. "It's alright Caroline, I'll take care of it, move along to your next class." Caroline looked up at her teacher sadly and nodded. She grabbed her books and slummped out of the class.

Ryu and Leon passed Caroline in the hallway. Ryu waved. "Hey Caroline, what's your next class?"

Caroline looked up cheerfully hearing Ryu's voice. "Hey guys! Um. I think I have some stupid history class....you?" She asked, hoping they too had history

Ryu laughed. "So do I. Leon however, get's to go to Study hall cause he took it over the summer. Let's go." He took her hand and led to her the history class while Leon laughed at the sight and went to Study hall to sleep.

Caroline blushed when Ryu took her hand. "Oh, uh...and i accidently dropped that flower you made me..." She said sadly.

He looked at her and smiled. "It's ok. Crystal can be fragile sometimes. I'll make you something better next class."
