Vampire RP

"Religion... what a foolish miscalculation these humans have given to themselves. They give themselves false hope of some sort of higher being that can help them when they need help..."
Xantar swung his clawed hand at a pillar, crumbling it.
"...No-one is there to help you... no-one... not even your own family..."
Xantar's fist shook in anger, but he contained it. The cold look returned to his face. His lip was bleeding black blood, but this soon stopped.
"Chicken... it's alright. It's meat. It does the job..."
Xantar looked solemnly into the sky.
After a while he turned to the other vampire.
"I never got your name. I'm Xantar."

When Diana was feeling strong enough, she took a walk. She made sure to avoid the old church but since she was new, she got lost. She sat down on a bench and sighed.

"I can't believe I'm lost... every building looks the same..."

Dante sighed. "Melissa...."

He drew his spiked tonfa and sliced the cross in half.

Era watched the two destroy one of the things from the church, from which the only memories she remembered were from that very building. She didn't say anything and was trying to forget those flashbacks that were reappearing ever since she laid a hand on the photo. A little pained from what Xantar has said, she was fighting against herself, 'The Serenity Trew is gone....and so is my family.... so why...?' She thought, clutching on the strap of her bag turning away from the church and into the streets.

By the time they were back in Satfer's apartment the little girl seemed a little bit more calmed down. As they walked to his room Satfer asked, "So little girl what is your name?"

She looked with a half-smile as she said proudly "Sara Maria Lucera."

Satfer why a little surprised that such a young soul could handle the trauma she had just gone through so well, perhaps she didn't quite understand what had happen Satfer thought. "Exactly how old are you?"

She counted on her fingers one by one and then held up one hand completely open and the other had all but one finger up.

"So you are nine-years old then."

Sara nodded her head in agreement.

As they reached Satfer's room Sara nearly gagged but she got used to the smell quickly. Satfer exclaimed loudly, "I'm tired, I need to sleep. The sun is already up."

Satfer plapped down on his couch as he looked towards Sara, "Feel free to sleep in my bed. Also if this room bothers you so much you are free to roam the hallways, no one else lives here. Just don't leave this floor, it's dangerious outside."

"Ok!" said Sara with a nod.

Sara yarned as she jumped onto Satfer's bed and passed out.

Sara woke a few hours later. She had a comfy sleep but now she couldn't fall back asleep. She looked at the clock which said 12:00. She decided to take Satfer's advice. She walked out of the room, walking past a passed-out Satfer. She wondered around the hallways exploring.

Diana managed to find her way home. She climbed upstairs and was a bit surprised to see a small girl. She went over to her and asked kindly. "What are you doing here, little one?"

Dante started to walk out of the church. "I will never forgive the church, or god. They never protected to me when I prayed. They never protecte Melissa from the hatred of the world. THey ruined my life, light, and faith. And one day, I plan to do the same..."

'My life....was always protected by my family's hope and prayers.... they're gone...and God did not save them and answer my prayers....or did they die in the murder from denstiny, just to get them away from the monster I am now? Was I believing in a false hope? Why....' Her thoughts were cut short, after check the time on the center building. "I think it's best if we all go to bed....It's nearly noon, and the sun is starting to make it's way up." She says turning back to what seems an enraged vampire and Xantar.

Sara looked up confusion. "Hmmm... acturally that's a good question?"

She took a moment to think, "I was taken here," she remembered what Satfer said about danger, "It's dangerious out side so I'm here."

"Would you like something to eat? My place is right down the hall" Diana said sweetly.

He was heading out and he stopped for a second. "My name is Dante. In case you ever need to find me." He then dashed out and headed for home before the sun went up.

"Dante..."
Xantar waited until he was gone, and placed some rubble back into the destroyed pillar, and turned to Era.

"I saw your pained expression when I mentioned religion... I'm sorry if I offended you."
he said in a tone which was slightly warmer than his normal cold one. He sighed.

"I can only guess that you have painful memories of your past. Events that you want to forget so much, but fear losing them because they remind you of something very dear to you."
He stopped and leant on the ground. The sun's rays licked his cold, undead face. He turned to Era and simply said-

"I do also."

He then covered himself in his crimson cloak, and went coldly silent.

Sara was kind hungry so she said "Ok, sure. Thank you!"

Diana smiled and unlocked her apartment. "I just moved in so bear with me." The place smelled like lilacs now, which was a relifer for Diana. She still wan't fond of the hallway smell. There was still boxes on the floor. She went into the kitchen and asked, "What would you like?" She had gone grocery shopping earlier.

Era turned to face him. She was not particularly affected by the sun, but she could tell that Dante and possibly Xantar were not immune to it's effects as she is. Letting some of the sun's rays graze against her neck, she says in an almost unaudible voice, "This is just the beginning...All I can do is have faith, not in God, but to life....and that can change fate." She says more to herself, and hopes things won't continue downhill. 'Serenity has always said that.... I am no longer her, but I can't continue to despise myself to something I could not control...' she thought. "It is best to let the tears flow, even if we are cursed. It is better to have times like those, than to become a cold demon and cannot feel anything..." Unwillingly letting her mind control her voice because of lack of sleep and began to droop down while walking down some stairs. "Memories....are what forces me to live...even if they're hurtful..."
