A bell sounded outside. Vergil looked up. "An Emergency?" He stepped outside to see an army marching towards them under the flag of the Spartan army.
"Damn. Selene! Get all the kids!" He looked around for a weapon.

Selene rounded up her siblings and threw Vergil a sword.

Vergil caught it. "Let's go!" He led Selene and her siblings out and into the forest ready to fight.

Vergil glanced back. "I don't know. I saw the Spartan army here, it must be an invasion." He saw ahead and a spartan soilder came out and held Icarus hostage.
"Hah! I knew I saw someone here! Put the sword down!" He pointed at Vergil. Vergil stuck the sword in the ground and put his hands up.

Vergil suddenly kicked the sword so that it spun and stabbed the soldier in the leg, dropping Icarus. Then he leapt forth and pinned down the soldier. He turned to Selene. "GO! GO NOW!"

Selene grabbed Icarus' hand and picked up the youngest one. They all ran as far as they could. Icarus stared the way they came. "Sis..." he asked "Yes?" Slene replied still out of breathe. "Is he going to die?"

Tethius woke up in shock and ran outside. "Wha-whats going on!!! Spartans! here! why now!" He grabbed a sword from the back of a fallen soldier and joined the fight.

Vergil let the soldier go after they were well out of hearing and sight range. "Sorry, how's your leg soldier?"
The soldier stood up and took out the sword which was only a bit in his leg. "It's fine. It's nice to know that you fit in perfectly... right General Vergil?"
Vergil grinned. "Yes, but do me a favor. Find those three and take them prisoner. Harm them, and die. But make it sound like you killed me. Now go!" He pointed in their direction. A small squad emerged from the trees and saluted. "Sir!"
And with that, they persued Selene. Vergil headed to the spartan camp.

Selene sat down and her siblings huddled around her. "Sis..." Icarus said quietly. "Are we going to die?" "Hush... We will be found."

Tethius got cornered by two soldiers. He didn't have enough skill with the sword to fight them off and they knocked him unconsious in the alleyway.

Vergil entered his quarters and sighed. "Sometimes I wonder if we should just live a normal life. Stop the military bullshit..."
A soldier came in and saluted Greek style. "Commander! We captured a small boy, a pair of elders, and a young man. What should we do?"
Vergil opened his left and and glanced at him. "Bring them here. Make sure they have handcuffs on. I'd like to speak with them. And tell the guard outside to bring me my mask."
The solder nodded. "By your command." He left.
