Angels and Demons

Sabin was going over battle plans as the sun came up. Angelo walked past carrying some scrolls.

"Another all-nighter my son?" He asked gently.

Sabin looked at him and smiled. "Of course father, I need to. I'm the general after all..." He yawned.

Angelo scolded him calmly. "My son, if you don't sleep you'll be too tired to react to an attack."

Sabin sighed. "Yes of course... I'll go sleep the morning off. Would you wake me if they call me?" Angelo nodded.

"Of course my son." Sabin smiled and went into bed.

Alina woke up bright and early. She got dressed and headed downstairs. It was convient living above the flower shop. She fixed the place up a bit and then switched the closed sign to open. She sat at the counter.

(Just a note, Tyran isn't pronounced like Tie-rann, it's tee-ren, confusing but just deal with it. D: )

"Tyran~~!! Get your lazy butt outta bed! Remember you're taking me to school today!" Cocoa says right next to his ear.
"....out...." Tyran says lazily. "But you will, won't you?" Cocoa asks and Tyran comesback with a small nod, and points sternly to the door. Cocoa smiles and exits after exclaiming, "Oh, and don't forget to put on your pretty dress!!!" giggling. 'Crap...'

[after dropping Cocoa off at school]

'Alright, this day I won't mess up!!' he thinks, heading back to their house to train, walking back in a girl's outfit.

It was dark in this cave, dark enough that it shrouded everything inside of it with a silky gown of shadows, but thats how Omega liked it - staying hidden.
Inside the cave, right at the very end, Omega sat, leaning on the stone walls. He was staring at his left arm - crimson red and engraved with hellishly glowing runes. He looked over to his other arm, which was white, with a hint of gold, it too engraved with runes, but these were golden angelic runes.

"Why do I exist... what is my purpose of being on this planet - Gaia as mother called, Terra as father did..." he said to himself, not in a depressing way, but in a way that showed deep thought in a philosophical mind.
"I wonder why the angels and demons called it differrent names... did it mean differrent things to them? Maybe the scriptures will enlighten me..." he trailed off into a soft mumbling, as he floated three ancient tomes towards him. He took the utmost care not to let the dripping water from the cave make contact with the books, so he shileded them with his feathery angelic and leathery demonic wings. He spent a few minutes scanning through the tomes, and eventually layed them down, after finding nothing he already knew from these books.
"It's time to get some new reading material... off to the great library..."
he said confidently, and crawled out of the cave, into the harsh mid-morn sunlight. He spread his hybrid wings, and flew gracefully to where his old rebel friends were - the great underground library.

Angelo walked through the town towards the library. He saw various people and he greeted them all. He sighed. "When will this war end? Why do the demons torture us so? Perhaps past grudgues? The rumor of a hybrid? Oh I'm getting too old..."

Omega, who by this time had the library in his sights, began his descent. Knowing that the humans were there, he landed in some woodlands nearby, and sat down. He circled his hand on the ground, until a metal handle shot out from under the leaved, as if Omega's hand was magnetised. He grasped the handle, opening the secret hatch he himself had built, and went down, closing it after him.
In the underground caverns, lit only by candles indented into the walls, and his holy radiance, Omega travelled in the direction he knew very well.
sometimes he would just walk back and forth between the great underground library and the hatch, just to admire the work he had done - well, he and the few and far between humans that took kindly to him. He recently had begun to admire the human architechture - it was nowhere near as perfect as the architechture in heaven, so he'd read - he'd never been anywhere but Earth - but it was fascinating to see the humans trying. They would try so hard - so very hard - to get a job done as right as human nature allowed them to. He took great respect in them for doing that.
Eventually he reached the grand oak doors, and opened them with a creak to the underground part of the library - where Omega knew all the books on angels, demons, and the great war resided.
He walked silently through the quiet library - the only sounds one could hear were that of a mouse scuttling around, drops of water from outside, and the flickering of the tiny candle flames.

Omega walked up to a shelf, and moved a book from the top shelf and floated it doen to his level. He sat down, using the light of his aura, to read the book in the dim twilight.

After an hour or so of sifting through material that he already knew, Omega decided to call it a day for now. He packed up everything as it was, and walked out back into the forest where he entered. He channelled some of his energy to hide his transendant features, so he looked relatively human, and decided to walk through town for a while, just to get his mind off of things.
The humans had a way of making distractions.

dronin sat upon a building watching as the people of the town walked past him without even knowing he was above them. suddenly he spotted a demon who took possesion of a humans body and was running through the streets like a mad man "not while i'm here" dronin spoke in his deep voice and jumped down he began in pursuit of this demon and in time brought him to a dead end "so, drexil, long time no see"dronin knew this demon. he fought him two times before. "dronin, you will never stop us all" drexil said to him with a scum look across his face. dronin unsheathed his sword "don't make this difficult" dronin spoke again looking at his sword. drexil turned and began to climb up the wall of the dead end "damnit don't you ever listen?" dronin said then jumped and sliced right at drexil's waistline. the demon fell from the wall and hit the ground. dronin was already standing down on the ground when drexil hit. drexil was split in half and the human was lying unconciouse a few feet from them "you're losing it drexil, why do you even come up here anymore?" dronin said with a small smile on his face. drexil looked at him and disappeared into the ground. giving a long sigh droning picked up the human and brought him out of the alley then say him in a chair. he looked at the man and walked away to his home.

As Omega was walking through the street, he decided to go to the place humans shop at. But, midway through, an angel swooped down and sliced at possessed human (Dronin and Drexil, Aidins post), and real;ised that this wasnt his battle, and so ran into the closest shop to get out of the way.
He looked around, and was taken back by the sweet smelling flowers. Even though they were no longer part of Gaia, these flowers bloomed with beauty, and smelt so heavenly. His demon side tried to get away but his angel side kept it under control.
He walked slowly up to the counter.
"Excuse me, I was wondering if I could purchase this flower"
he said, holding a larger-than-normal red rose.

as dronin walked on, the light of the sun began to grow brighter "damnit" he said. an angel from valhalla was coming down to talk with him.

"dronin.....we need to talk" the voice of the angel spoke to him in a calm voice ,as most angels had, dronin looked down "i'm not interested in cheep talk" he spoke then continued to walk. it seemed as though he was the only one who could see the brightened light since everybody just continued on with their daily human lives.

just then another voice spoke in a deep gruff voice "well you're coming up here whether you like it or not!" the voice seemed to be that of dronin's father "what possible problem could have arisen that i need to speak with you guys?" dronin said then instantly appeared in front of the gods "looks like i don't have much of a choice" dronin said then looked up to see his father and all the other gods sitting in a council

(OOC: Of course not. XD I control the king of the gods. And by the way, there is only one god.)

Sabin was woken and was summoned to the court to be a judge/jury. He sighed. "What idiot..."

Later~~~~

He sat down at the room as General and looked at Dronin. The King spoke, for he was not visible. "You who have been living on Earth, chose to forsake Valhalla, we send you to the front lines of the war."

Sabin groaned silently. I have to command this fool?

(ooc: what i meant by that was higher angels sorry shoulda been a little more specific with that)

dronin looked at sabin. then heard the king speak "i do my part, unlike what i can say for most of you" he looked around the room at many of the higher angels that didn't have duties on earth

" i did not forsake my brothers here on valhalla!" dronin yelled towards where the voice came from "if anything i'm protecting them" he looked down. his voice calmed

[The Manager]

Xillidan was awake, he just didn't feel like opeing his eyes. He was lazy in that state of mind. He just floated there. Not standing or flying, just slightly hovering over the ground. His arms were corssing eachother over his chest and his tail was wrapped around his leg. His wings were down over the front of him, covering most of his body. 'Wh.........what?.........how is this?' Xillidan thought. 'I was banished............how could I possibly be here?......' His tail unwraveled off his leg. 'Someone must have done something........to.........' His arms fell to his sides. 'If only.............I.............had.....' His wings flapped back and folded behind him. 'So............wait.............If I'm here..............that must mean there's another Ark angel...................heh..................perfect.' His eyes shot open.

This time Sabin spoke. "You left us, and no one needs our protection on earth, unless the demons attack them directly. A human or two is of no concern of us. After all they defilied us and attempted murder and rape when we lived together. You have been told to fight in the war, so you will do you are told, and I will do my best to command you."

The other council members nodded in agreement.

[aidin]

dronin looked down. he never liked how sabin worked and worse was that now he was under the command of him.
"i will return from this war. i promise"
dronin looked at sabin sharply in the eyes

"i may be put in this war on your side sabin, but that doesn't mean i wouldn't jump at the chance of going against you one on one" dronin said with a small smile on his face. "dronin!" his father spoke in a loud yelling voice "we need you in this. the last thing we want is you and sabin fighting against each other."

dronin looked at his father "no worries father, nothing's gonna happen until after this war...."
