Chapter 1: The Crossing of Paths

Lloyd walked down the streets and his mind was wandering when he bumped into a girl in front of him. "Ouch. Sorry about that..." Ayame turned and looked Lloyd over

"You’ve got alot of guts bumping into me little boy!" her tail stood on end and her ears perked up. Lloyd was about to apologize, his mouth was half open when he froze. He gaped at the girl in front of him. "Eh? Something the matter little boy?" she walked around him and smirked "you don’t look to tough. What’s your name boy?" as she walked around him her tail swished from side to side

Lloyd was silent for a bit more. Then he lunged out and grabbed her tail. "It's... REALLY A TAIL!" He pulled on it some more. "And it's real! What ARE you?" Lloyd looked up at Ayame.

"NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!" Ayame blushed and collapsed to the floor "L-let go of my tail nya!" she struggled on his grip and tried to control her happiness. Lloyd didn't notice and he let go of his tail. Instead, he grabbed her ears.

"AND EARS TOO! Did you superglue these things on or something??" Lloyd apparently loved cats. Ayame blushed more and tried to get away. "L-let gooo~! Nyaaan!" she started clawing at Lloyd "Let go of my ears!!!"

Lloyd finally noticed her embarrassment and he let go quickly and got cut on his arm. "OW! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't notice... are you really a cat girl? Oh wait." Lloyd looked down on his cut arm, and held out his right arm. His Guardian Soul Keyblade materialized. "Curaga." He pointed the keyblade to his cut and it healed.

Ayame tried to stand up but couldn’t "Yes I-I am a catgirl." She calmed herself down and stood staring at his keyblade "What’s a little boy like you doing with that?!" she got closer to him and stared.

"LITTLE? I'm 24! Besides, how do you know about the Keyblade?" He could hardly ignore her look of curiosity. He knew that she knew what it was. "Don't tell me you have one too..." He twirled his Guardian Soul around in his hand.

She smirked and held out her left hand. Her holy pumpkin keyblade appeared "Yeah I have one. It’s kind of a surprise that a little boy like you has one." Her ears twitched. She grew dangerously close to him daring him to challenge. Lloyd glared at her, steam could have been going out of his ears, but maybe not, and pointed his keyblade at her.
"That's it! I'm going to kick your arse Catgirl! If I win you gotta STOP calling me LITTLE! And seeing as you're so cocky you won't refuse will you?" Lloyd got into his battle stance. Ayame put on an innocent face. "Awww… You want to fight me? Fine!" she stared at her keyblade for a second then quickly got into a fighting stance. "Little boys go first.”

"That's it. Thundaga!" He pointed his keyblade in the sky and a large lightning blast crashed down on her. He took the distraction of the thunder as an advantage and he charged in with a stab. Ayame staggered back and clutched her side "Man... I can’t fight with this." She dismissed her keyblade and took out two guns. She jumped in the air and began firing at him. Lloyd took at hit in the arm with a gun and hardly winced.

"Curaga!" His arm healed then he focused for a bit. "DRIVE FORM! PSYCIC TORNADO!" There was a huge flash of light.

"What!?" She said in surprise as Lloyd began to transform "He can...use drive!?" She quickly got her guns ready. The bright light faded and Lloyd hovered in the air. He wore a dark green cloak with silver streaks on it. He was holding two keyblades... but there were four more hovering around him. Ayame stared at Lloyd in amazement. She quickly snapped out of it and began firing. Lloyd grinned as she shot. His hovering keyblades deflected them all. It was as if they had a mind of their own. "Is this all that you are?" He taunted.

Ayame glared at Lloyd "Grrr!" her cat side took over and without thinking, she lunged at him ready to bite and scratch. Lloyd threw his keyblades at her... All six went through various parts of her clothing and pinned her to the wall. He hovered closer to her and grinned. "Feel like giving up?" He said in a playful tone. He grabbed her tail and left ear.

"NYAAAAAAAA!" she gasped and blushed "Let go nya!!!" she tried to get free but stared at him in an innocent way. "I-I........gr....grr!" She pouted and looked away still blushing. "I give up... Just let go!" She whined.

Lloyd started to laugh uncontrollably. "YOU LOOK SO CUTE AND FUNNY LIKE THAT!!" He "fell" on the ground laughing. He didn't actually make contact though. He was still hovering, holding the tail. She gasped when he tugged her tail a little

"I said I give up! N-now let go!!! Please!!!" she struggled more

Lloyd got up and put the tail to his cheek. "But it's fluffy. Eh. I'll let you go if you promise to not call me little anymore Miss... Catgirl." He said with a smile on his face.

Ayame glared and looked away "Fine…little boy…” She added under her breath. Ayame looked at him with the most innocent face ever "Now can you let me go? Pretty please?"

"HEY! I heard that." Lloyd tugged on her tail a bit more and poked her ears.

"NYAN!!!!" she started blushing more and a smile crept on her face. "I… I’m SORRY!!!!!! Let gooo!!!!!" She couldn’t help but smile more as he touched her tail and ears. Satisfied, Lloyd let go of her tail and ears. He went out of his Drive form and the keyblades in her clothes disappeared. He bent down seeing as she slumped to the ground.
"Hmm... Sorry about those holes. You wanna come over my house so I can sew them up?" He picked her up.

"Hmmm..." she looked at him suspiciously and her ears twitched nervously "I’m not sure if I trust you to not do anything funny…" She glared him as she rubbed her aching tail

Lloyd turned around. "Then don't get your clothes sewed for free." Lloyd was silent for a moment. Then he materialized his keyblade and slashed the area in front of him. He had cut a heartless in two. "They still never learn." More heartless appeared.

Ayame looked at the heartless and smirked "been a while since i last fought them~" she summoned her keyblade and began slashing at the heartless. the holes in her clothes got bigger "wah!! I need to get these fixed" she leaped away from the heartless "Take care of them boy!!! and maybe I’ll trust you~"

"Very well." He shouted, "STRIKE RAID!" He hurled his keyblade in a straight line killing half the heartless. "MAGNEGA!" He pointed in the air with his keyblade the moment it came back. All the remaining heartless gathered in the air, trapped by the magnet spell. "Thundaga." The thunder spell struck them all and they all vanished. "Too easy."

"Oooooh!" she clapped and sighed. "Well, I guess I trust you well enough..." She smirked and stood close to him. "So shall we go?" Ayame put on a sly smile and her tail flicked happily.

Lloyd smiled at her. "Follow me." He headed down the roads of Twilight town towards the Tram section.

Chapter 2: Disbelief, Anger, and Acceptance.

Everyone stared at the two as they walked. One kid almost touched Ayame's tail and she barked at him "YOU’VE NEVER SEEN A CATGIRL BEFORE?!" she pouted and stood closer to Lloyd. "Sheesh! People these days. So where is your house oh great one?"

Lloyd laughed at what happened. He stopped in front of a door to a average sized house. "Right here. Come on in." He opened the door, stepped in and said, "Traiiin.... Sveeeen...!" Two cats ran up to him and jumped on him. One had a brown fur and it looked like it had spiky hair. It also had the tattoo XIII on its chest, with a four cat digits on his blue cat-vest. he carried a hand gun with the symbol XIII etched on the black pointy part of the gun. The other cat had a white slipper hat (no stripes), an eye patch over his right eye, wore a suit and carried a suitcase.

"Hey Lloyd! Sven kicked me again!" said the first cat with the gun.

"Only because you stole my club sandwich!" retorted the second cat. "Oh! Who is this lady...?" The cat with the eye patch jumped on Lloyd's head so he would be level with Ayame. He bowed and said, "Has Lloyd been... A GENTLEMEN WITH YOU?"

Ayame stood in shock for a few moments then hugged Sven, who happened to be on lloyds head. "NYAAAAAAAAA!!!! You’re so cute! I’ve never seen a cat in a suit before!!!!" she hugged him again then said with a smirk "Lloyd’s been the most horrible guy ever!! Why, just look at what he did to my clothes" She motioned to her torn clothes.

Seeing as she's been hugging Sven on his head, his head got caught in the hug and his head was stuck in her...chest. Sven on the other hand looked pleased with him-self and said, "Well, Lloyd always does this stuff. I've been saying it for a year now. I've been training him. Right Train?" Sven looked around to see Train holding up bunny ears behind Sven's ears. "What the-? I'LL KILL YOU! THE GENTLEMAN'S FIST!" He opened his suitcase and a boxing glove sprang out and hit Train sending him flying.

Ayame blushed and smiled at train and Sven. "You guys are so CU.........." she noticed where Lloyd was and punched him.”Nyaan! You need to learn how to be a gentleman like um… What’s your name again?" She looked at Sven curiously

"OW! It's not my fault! YOU PUT MY HEAD THERE!" He turned away pouting and Sven turned around to face Ayame again.

"Don't mind this gluttonous beast-" ("WHAT? I'm not feeding you again!") -"but I'm working hard. My name is Sven..." Sven leaped on her shoulder and kissed her on the cheek. "May I ask what your name is?"

Train climbed on Lloyd's blushing head and cocked his head. "Are you a catgirl?"

"That’s right! My name is Ayame mew!" She smiled and held Sven in her arms. Ayame began petting Sven. She turned to Train. "And who are you???"

"I'm T-" Started Train, but a third cat tackled him. "KURO-SAMA!!!" This cat was a female, had the same fur color as train and it seemed like it had long hair. She wore a school girl uniform.

"ACK! Kyoko...! We have a vis... uh oh." The female cat, named Kyoko had leaned in for a kiss. Train did some quick thinking and somehow pulled over Lloyd (OOC: I can't picture this well. Just bear with me) and Kyoko kissed Lloyd instead.

"ACK! I KISSED LLOYD AGAIN!!! WHY KURO-SAMA!?" She pouted. Lloyd coughed. "Kissed....by...cat...again..."

Ayame brightened up. "So cute!!!" She let go of Sven and walked over to Kyoko. Her tail flicked happily and she hugged her. "Cute! I didn’t know you loved cats Lloyd!" She glared at him "Is that why you tortured me so much?" She hit him a little with her tail

Lloyd frowned. "I just though you looked kinda cute like that." Train was curious. "How'd you torture her? She looks cute like what?" Lloyd sighed. "I'm so sorry. But like this." Lloyd reached out and grabbed her tail and right ear. Again.

Ayame blushed and smiled "Nyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~~! I told you to st-stoppp!!" She fell on Lloyd "Stop nyaaa~!" Ayame struggled....again

Kyoko and Train laughed with Lloyd when he let go. Sven on the other hand cried. "WHY? WHY MAKE THE WOMEN FEEL BAD??" Lloyd stopped smiling and ran over to carry Sven in his arms. "Now now, don't cry Sven it was a joke! I won't do it again!" He said frantically as Sven wailed. Kyoko and Train jumped on Lloyd's arms and patted Sven to make him feel better.

Sven sniffed but he smiled. "Oh don't worry. Lloyd's a gentleman like me. He just likes to play around." Lloyd said "And you were going on about how ungentlemanly like I was." But he was happy that Sven calmed down anyway.

"Hmmm… I still don’t think he’s as much of a gentleman as you Sven." She studied Lloyd for a bit then looked at her clothes "Ah! I forgot! My clothes are still ripped!!!!" Her tail stood on end and she blushed. "Can we fix them now?"

Lloyd put down his three cats and stood up. He brushed off his clothes. "Sure. Come over here." Lloyd led Ayame to the living room where there were many cat houses there. "Oh wait two things. One, I didn't catch your name. My name's Lloyd. And two, you'll need to take off your clothes if you want me to sew them." Lloyd took out a small sewing box. His cats followed him in there.

"My name’s Ayame" she blushed then turned to Lloyd and yelled. "You better not look you pervert!!!!" She slowly took off her clothes and handed them to him "Hurry up! I don’t like standing here in my underwear." She blushed a bright red. Train and Sven got nosebleeds but Kyoko smacked both of them. Lloyd thought that she was already in a bad mood with him. So he didn't glance. He took the clothes and sat down blushing and began to sew the holes.

Ayame sighed and sat down still covering herself up "Nyaa~ its cold!" Her ears twitched and she blushed more when she saw train and Sven get nosebleeds. She picked Sven up "I didn’t know cats got nosebleeds! Cuteeee!!!!!" She hugged him and turned to Lloyd "Almost done?"

"I'm almost done..." replied Lloyd. All three cats snuggled with Ayame as they waited for Lloyd.

Kyoko asked, "Why are you a cat girl?"

"Hmm?" She thought for a second then smiled "I was born this way of course! Everyone thought I was the cutest baby!" She pet Kyoko "Ne, How are you guys able to talk? It’s weird!"

Train replied to her question. "Lloyd used his keyblade to give us that ability. He also made us these clothes and weapons." Train held up his prized Hades gun.

Ayame smirked "Ehh~ I didn’t know the keyblade had that many skills" she took train's gun and played with it "Aww! This is so cute!" she smiled at train and gave him back his gun. She shivered and stood in front of Lloyd "you're stalling aren’t you!! Hurry up with my clothes!"

"Hey, I'm almost done. Oh wait, Sven?" Lloyd asked. Sven leaped over to the table. "Yes?" Asked Sven.

"Could you turn on the heater for Ayame?" He said as he cut a thread. "Of course! Anything for the lady." Sven leaped onto the thermostat and turned it on.

"Ahhhh… That’s more like it! Thank you Sven" she smiled and hugged him. "Uh oh! I just remembered why I was in twilight town!" she blushed and looked nervous

"Why are you in Twilight town then?" Lloyd asked. All three cats leaned in to listen. Ayame turned away and laughed nervously "Uh... Um just… Visiting ha ha ha…" She smiled and tried changing the subject "so uh...those clothes are about ready...right?" her tail flicked nervously

"...Tell me or I won't give you your clothes back." Lloyd continued to sew up her clothing.

"Grr! You pervert!! "She stood up and started pacing the room.”Actually… I was here to...uh....steal treasure from you." She smiled and made a gun motion with her hand. "But seeing as you’ve been so kind and all… I’ve decided to let you go. But I may not be so nice later on." She sat down closer to him and the cats.

"....Is that so...? Two things. You steal from me, and these cats will go hungry and starve. Two, unless you sign a contract saying that you won't steal from me, I will burn these clothes, take off your underwear, tie you up, and then hang you from your feet in the town square." He said unemotionally as he sewed up the 5th hole.

"H-hey! You wouldn't really do that would you?" Asked Sven, Train and Kyoko.

"...I would."

Ayame's eyes went wide and she blushed "You wouldn’t dare touch me you pervert!" she smirked and turned away "I am NOT signing any contract!! Little man…!"

The three cats gasped. Lloyd froze. "STOPGA!" He had his keyblade in his hand, pointed at Ayame. She froze in her steps. Lloyd stood up and ignored the pleas of ("IDIOT! BE A GENTLEMAN!") Sven and walked over to Ayame.

"What do you think you're doing!? Don’t even think about getting any closer to me!" She began blushing and wishing she could move. "Get this spell of me dammit!"

Lloyd got behind her, and moved her hands to the back her back and tied them up with some rope. "You sure about this Ayame...?" Train and Sven once more got nosebleeds. And Kyoko was there with a giant hammer.

"Nyaaan! Let me go this instant Lloyd!" she tried to break free of the spell "I told you I refuse to sign a contract!!!! Let me go!"

"Oh very well. I'm sure you'll be well known in a while." He tied up her feet and he pointed to her clothes, which began to hover in the air. "FIRAGA!" The clothes caught on fire and became ashes. Sven sighed and said. "There's no use to it." Train sighed. "Well, if she steals from us we won't get any salted fish anymore."

"My clothes!!!! Grrr!" her hands started to hurt and she sighed "fine! I’ll sign the damn contract! Now let me go~ this is.....not right" ayame blushed more

"Good. Sven?" He called. Sven gave him a salute, reached into his suitcase, and pulled out a contract and handed it to Lloyd who held it in front of Ayame's face. The contract stated...

"To applicant, By signing this contract, you are magically binded to never steal from Lloyd of Twilight Town. You are also forced to be the partner of Lloyd and live in his house and help care for his cats. If you sign this and betray him you will die of humiliation and burn in Lloyd's underworld for all eternity."

Ayame looked the contract over "Hmmmmm ...binded....steal...partner.... li.. LIVE!? I have to live here!? Why?" her voice changed into a sly tone and if she could smirk she would "Ehhh? Do you want me to stay here that badly? Hah! Not a chance! I refuse to live with a pervert~"

Lloyd sighed, dropped the contract and performed Stopaga again so the spell wouldn't wear out. Lloyd bent down and tied her feet together and slung her over his shoulder face down and headed towards the door.

"Naaan~" she blushed and glared at Lloyd "grr!!!" ayame thought for a moment then her voice went low "well at least I wont be too embarrassed since I have my underwear on.. Heh… Little boy's are no threat to me!" She tried to smile.

Lloyd froze at the door, and ripped off her panties and burned that too. He continued out the door and was soon at the middle of the square. Luckily, everyone was at home asleep. He used Stopga on her again and looked around.

"Where would be a nice lamp post to hang you from...?" He pondered.

Ayame blushed as bright red as a watermelon. She started yelling " Stop stop nyaaa!!!!!!! I’m sorry~! I’ll sign the contract!! I’ll live with you!!! I’ll be your cat just get me some clothes!!!"

"Good. But first..." Lloyd whipped out a camera and took 10 pictures of her. "This will make sure you don't betray me as well."

"nyaan! that’s just wrong!!" she blushed and looked away "get me inside the house now!! So I can sign that stupid contract." Ayame looked at him and glared "and get this spell off me too!"

Lloyd grinned, put the camera away, and carried Ayame back to his house.

Ayame sighed and glared at Lloyd as they got near the house "You could at least get this spell off me! I don’t like being carried around like a cat nya!" She pouted and waited for him to untie her.

"Ah, but the spell IS off." He put Ayame down in a chair and untied her hands only. He put the contract in front of her, and a pencil. "Sign here." He pointed to the bottom line.

She smirked and took the pencil "Fine fine! Guess I absolutely need to sign." She signed her name at the bottom and stared at Lloyd for a moment "Ne why do you want me here so badly? It couldn’t be because you have a secret love for me…" She laughed.

"...Nothing of the sort." Lloyd took the contract away from her and put it away. "You should go take a shower while I make your clothes. You smell..." Lloyd walked away, sat down, and began to sew at full speed. Kyoko went over to her, but her leg ropes and led her to the shower.

As she followed Kyoko she took a quick glance at Lloyd then turned away. Ayame took a nice long shower and came out happy and satisfied, and she was wearing a towel. "Nyaaa! That was refreshing!" she smiled and sat down next to Lloyd "Done yet partner?"

"Yup." He handed her the same style of clothing she wore before, except it looked a bit better. "I also cooked some Ramen for you. It's on the table..." He pointed it out. Also, on the table was Kyoko, Sven and Train all eating fish, and drinking milk.

Ayame examined the clothes and smiled "I love them~!" she took off the towel and began putting on her clothes. When she finished she sat at the table next to Sven and began eating her ramen. "You still didn’t answer my question." Ayame gave Lloyd a serious look. "Why do you want me here!?"

"....There’s only one bed. And you’d have to share it with me because there’s only one blanket until I can buy another one for you.” Lloyd walked towards his bedroom, pulled out a book and began to read.

Train turned to Ayame. "He's not offended by your question. It's just that... well. Lloyd-sama has been lonely his whole life. He was abandoned when he was 5 because his parents were selfish bastards-" --Here, Kyoko and Sven nodded-- "-and they got rid of him because it would take alot of money to pay for him. But they were living in luxury! So ever since he's been alone, and always wandering. No one wanted him, or cared for him. He found us in a dump and he lived with us for a while. Then they bulldozed down the place and he worked for a while and bought this house." Train finished.

"It's just as Kuro-sama says! He's just lonely. I mean he has us, but it's not the same as being with another human. Not that I don't blame Lloyd-sama for feeling lonely even though he has us." Said Kyoko.

"While Lloyd was making your clothes and you were in the shower, he was smiling to himself and humming. I think he's just really happy that he isn't alone anymore. Even though he got money for the house and stuff, he still hasn't really ever communicated with ANYONE." Explained Sven. "It might not be best for you to tell him that we told you this though."

Ayame smiled a little and pet the cats "Thanks for telling me that. Now I understand why imp here... I have never trusted men but for some reason..." she sighed and winked at the cats. Ayame walked towards Lloyd and yawned "Neee… I’m tired! Do you think its time to go to bed?"

"Yes it is... I should be going to sleep too." He moved over and gave her the pillow. He put the book down, laid down and attempted to go to sleep. "Good-night Ayame..."

Ayame smiled slyly and laid down next to him. She snuggled up close to Lloyd. "Good night Lloyd." She closed her eyes

"..." Lloyd slowly closed his eyes. He felt more comfortable when he put his arm around her. At least.....not...alone...anymore.... He fell into a deep peaceful sleep.
