Is it wrong that I've already begun searching (and potentially found) my funeral song?

I mean, god forbid it, but you never know, I might go tomorrow, it might take 100 years to get rid of me XD

But yeah, my friends really think its wrong, not because of me looking for it, but because of me thinking about me dying and such and my death date.

Anyhoo, I want my funeral song to not be depressing, but to have a deeper meaning, and the song I found the other say seems to fit all these criteria.

I mean, something you guys should know about me - I'm not sure if its bad or not.

Basically, as a person, I do and say A LOT of things that have at least 2 meanings. Like characters from RP's, posts about stuff, and general things I say, more than likely have a sub or hidden meaning. I spend a lot of time thinking about the words I write and say, so that it gets across the surface and deeper meaning at the same time.

Is that also a bad thing?

as for the funeral song, also think me sick for saying it you must, but it is always nice to plan ahead... ^_^;;

it's also nice to have something meaningful planned out so that when they're picknig out your song, they havesomething to go with insead of going with something like...Happy Days...that'd be really sad...

I think thats not bad at all to think something would be nice to have played at your funeral. On the thought of songs that might do well mood wise for a funeral, i think Helena is a good song, or Diary of Jane, Disturbed: Believe, Land of confusion, Evanescence.

your a strang one darius. This was an old idea but I would want to wait until I was decomposed into a skeleton. Then have me proped up aside my tombstone with my arm waving and a big sign that said "WHATS UP" or "I'M COMMING TO GET YOU TONIGHT BILLY" or something like that.

No no!! None of them are bad!! It's a bit touchy subject to say things about passing away, but it's always good to bring out a meaning from a person and what they lived for out into a melody they wouldn't forget about you. (Hope that makes sense.....;; )
