When you said JKR I thought you meant 'me'. Weird how alike our initials are.
I have never read the books sadly (They seem really good though). I have seen all the movies but I also know a lot about the books. My mom is a HUGE Hairy Potter fan. She tells all the differances in the movies compared to books and what happens in all the books. Still though go easy on me since it's not my speciality.

Physical Description: A bit short. Short light- brwon hair that curls a tad bit at the end. Light green eyes.
Background: Comes from a Wizard family. Very average kid with the exception of his wand.
Other: He is just an average nice kid tries to do what right. Even if he lacks confidence sometimes.

Physical Description: Dark brown about mid-back length hair, Slightly waved. Stunning green eyes.
Background: Half and half. Mother was a witch and father was muggle. Her father was shocked when he found out and left her mother. Shes lived with her mother since. She doesn't even know her fathers name. Its unexplained but she can turn invisable at will. wand or not.
Other: She very shy and kind-hearted. Tends to be ignored. Very smart.

Wand: Oak and Phoenix feather, 17 and a half inches.
Physical Description: Natural spiky black hair (Hair like Zack from FF7!), dark brown eyes, and tall.
Background: Pureblood wizard. This line of wizards are not exactly wizards, they are sages. Wizards who can cast certain spells without the use of a wand. These spells can be copied by a wand user, but the person MUST be taught by the sage, or it will backfire. Sages are usually considered dangerous seeing as they may accidently cast a spell on accident. However he was accepted for his brilliance, and is considered the once in a millenium genius.
Other:Quiet yet popular. He doesn't care for his popularity, and is annoyed by the fact that everyone, even the first years know his name.

Background: Pure blood. His father killed his mother with the Imperius curse (made her drown herself). Father was imprisoned in Azkaban. Lives with Foster parents.
Other: Not the sharpest tool in the shed. Usually is made fun of for being so dim witted.

Wand: 15 1/2 inches, dragonscale weave on darkoak. Physical Description: Average height and build. Hair is brown and long (like almost girl long). Skin slightly more tanned than usual. Background: Pureblood - he knows about his magical abilities, but in total honesty he just wants to live a normal life. will actively contribute to lessons, but only uses magic when it is necessary, unless he has a bloody good reason.
