Those guys are the SuperGeniuses of Earthbound.
Earthbound is such a fucked up game though - let me find a picture of the font they ALWAYS talk in regardless of default.

okay fuck finding a picture of it.Suffice it to say I have the original SNES cartridge (and imported NES of mother 1). and it's fucked up.
Link for that picture is broken, but it has something to do with lunar.

Uhhh... THe picture above this was Lucia's pendant in Lunar 2. Its role is just her identification of sorts and a momento from Lucia to Hiro when she returns to the Blue Star. It's earthbound - The Run Away 5 is a hella awesome band and you get tickets to thier show. They later escort you in their most excellent van through the ghost infected tunnel.
