I just read some article at Jewel's while waiting in line, and get this if you haven't heard of it!
Two teams are making Final Fantasy XIII
FInal Fantasy XIII of course... and Kingdom Hearts! BOO YAH! And they have some new White Engine whose graphics are SO DAMN similar to CG effects, or in short the graphics they used for Advent Children and their CG in-game movie scenes! This game is so going to rock. FFX movie videos as GAMEPLAY for the PS3!?
I'm so psyched.

yeah i heard that the possiable FFVII sequal :: no DIrge is not a sequal it is a side story:: will use the XII battle and graphics engine, so that would kick so much ass! But wait, what was XII is thta out yet even?

Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy XIII
Is a series of at least 3 games all named Final Fantasy XIII because they all take place in the same universe (Simular to FF7, FF7: Before the Crisis, FF7: Crisis Core, FF7: Dirge of Cerberus, etc.). Unlike the FF7games, all of the games takes place at around the same time and don't have a direct relationship with each other.
There are currently 3 confirmed games but there are rumors there might be more.
Final Fantasy XII: Standard tyical FF RPG except on next-gen systems.
Final Fantasy Agito XIII: A cell-phone game.
Final Fantasy Versus XIII: Action-based game simular to Kingdom Hearts.

I would hope they do a FFXIII but it would be on PS3 if they ever release it. Stupid sony making have to buy there crap in order to play a game, what assholes.

That makes no sense. I'd buy a PS3 anyway, cause I have seen the game graphics and the CG, and they are fucking amazing. XBox does the same, to play their games you need an XBox. >_>

well i mean, that i hope they dont put it on the PS3 because that would just seem like a cheap way to get people to buy the system, although i'd probably get it anyways, but i'd just prefer to have FFXIII on PS2 since i probably wont get PS3 for a while.

If they put it on PS2, then they couldn't use the new White engine for the game graphics, and then we'd be looking at another Final Fantasy XII or Kingdom Hearts. *rolls eyes*

Yeah, i guess how cool it looked would be worth it, but i'd almost be willing to sacrifice and have kingdom hearts graphics in order to have the greatest game (game play wise) ever

The Final Fantasy team is working on the graphics and story board, while the Kingdom Hearts team is doing the battle system, Final Fantasy style merged with KH.
