Why not? ALthough We should put a limit on the white people. Like a test to see if they'll really annoy the Asians. Like how Kristina used to be annoying when she kept saying I'm Asian on the inside! But now she stopped and she's not annoying anymore. =D Never knew that about her. Anyways stop being so racest. Bah why do I bother, like that would happen. That's not racist. It's common sense. You don't HAVE to be Asian to enjoy manga and other things we do! Many people think that we're so tied on to "You HAVE to be Asian to do this" that they say that they're Asian in any way! If you're white then that's fine with us! If you're Black that's fine with us! The ONLY thing we don't like is when people lie about their fucking nationality! I do realize it's partly our fault to put it in a different form that seems racist. However it gets highly annoying when you ASSUME that out Asian pride blocks out all other nationalities. If you're so annoyed about stuff like that, then lemme ask you a question. What is the CAUSE of Asian pride, Black Power, Mexican Pride, Spanish pride, and Brown power, or any other that I missed? (No, there is no white Pride. Never has been.) The white cilvilization. And when I say that, I mean the majority. Black power was a result of prejudice against them and denying them rights. Asian pride came from White people always making fun of the immigrant's English and their eyes. However after that our pride grew by our hard-working and althletic skills. Spanish/Mexican pride came from you guys making fun of their english and saying how retarded they are for they overload the labor industry! Brown power? Same as black almost. Their enlgish, their turbans, and partly of small eyes like Asians. Also their's grew by hard-working and hilarious Indian accents! ANd I say for the last fucking time. If I was racist, would I be your friends!? GOD! You guys annoy me so much sometimes. None of you knew how hard it was for me to go past pre-school, kindergarten, and 1-2nd grade with White people making fun of me everywhere! Small eyes this, small eyes, that, He's Asian so he's a tard, I'm SICK OF IT! It's the majority and influence of white people that made me habor these feelings dammit! ANd you guys should know. How many times have I always wanted to be white just to fit it. I'm serious. I'm so sick of this assumtions about me based on my attitude that was created by you!!!!And JUST because I'm sooooo fucking damn annoyed, I apologize if it seems like spamming but I want my slate fucking clean, I'm reposting this in the general lounge so all will FUCKING SEE IT. |

Please don't read this unless you truly want to know my background.... it's just a bit of my childhood because of racism... XwX (and don't ever bring this up again.... *clings to Mr. Ears (my stuffed bunny)*
How sad.... it's just horrible.... I was also picked on, but probably not as harsh as you as I imagine.... but instead, they say my eyes are big... and I was one of the only Asians in my classes....and I felt...alone.... no one truly wants to be like that...whenever someone realized I was present, they never say anything positive, just because of what I am, when I was a child. (But things got better when I met others.... but after moving we never had contact ever again....no calls...meetings...nothing. When I saw them again, they didn't even remember me....)
I believe no one is actually racist. I know people would say I'm crazy, but I think that they are just self-centered, and are focusing on what they don't have, rather than the qualities they should be appreciative of. Like one is that Caucasians have a less likely chance of getting certain diseases. (But that's because they didn't work as hard in the past....) Like PZ said, people expect things from others and classify them with certain aspects. If people weren't as judgmental, would this world be more friendly? I really hope so!! If I could change one thing about my life, I wouldn't want to change anything at all. I'm just glad that I had the chance to meet all of you!! X) Thank you... |

As for you Black Lilly. You are brave! it's good to talk about ones pain. It bothers me when people never want to vent and they only keep thier pain on the inside so it eats away at them and hurts even more. I agree loneliness is the worst feeling in the world! I hope you know that you aren't alone and you DO have friends that really care about you!

Damn...
I feel really uncomfortable now, seeing as I am a white person, like the ones you say (and I agree) that started everything. So, uh, sorry if I seem out of place ^^;
Anyway, I can only imagine how horrible it must have been to have had lives like that. Now I feel really sorry that I couldnt have lived some time in your shoes to find out just how difficult it must have been for you at those times.
I really dont know what to say. What you said was powerful, and it was very touching.
Uh, I'm sorry if I've ever annoyed you in any way at all.

Jakey don't worry. You aren't white, you are british and that deserves it's own majority. I'm just joking but serious an individural shouldn't take the blame of a majoroity (Hence this whole converstation. This really should be moved to Brain of Chaos.
Anyways discrimanation comes in many forms, not just race. Sexism, Ageism, Relionism. All kinds of retard crap! I think EVERYONE in thier life has experancec some kind of discrimanation in thier life. Being judged before known. We should all understand how painful it is to be discrimanated against. And because we know that pain we should do our best to not discrimanate against others. It's hard, I would like to say that I never do but I know I have a few times. It's the way society programs our minds to think. "If thier is a problem blame it on this scapegoat instead of the real source of the problem." If any of us wish to change this horrible society then we need to be the ones that change it by liberating our minds of what they say. I sincerely hope one day we can live in such a society that doesn't judge people so harshly.
