Satfer felt a terrible feeling of helplessness rush over him, almost a sort of despair. But Satfer was one to live his life on the edge and looking straight into death's eyes was a common experience to him by now. He defiantly screamed out, "Fuck you geezer!"

Xantar swung open the door.
"Nice to see you to, Dante"
he said to the other vampire. He, looked down at Satfer, with the needle in his neck.
"Nicely done."
he said as he turned to Dante, referring to the needle.
Then Xantar walked towards the human girl, but passed her and picked up the rose.
"So you kept it... not many do."
he turned to the human girl, and pulled the tracker out of the rose. He showed them his earpiece.
"Most people find this straight away."
he said, eating it, to make sure it would not be used again.
The suns rays licked at his cold face, and Xantar recoiled.
"Damnit its getting light... Well, as short as my stay was, I have to go now - one other vampire was kind enough to let me rest at hers for today, and I wish to repay her. Farewell, to you all."
He stopped just outside of the door, and turned to Satfer and Dante.
"I'll be seeing you around, I suppose."

Dante grinned. "Same to you." He kicked Satfer in the stomach again. "ANSWER GODDAMMIT!"

Xantar sharply turned his head, quicker that the human eye could see, to face her. His cold, relentless eyes scanned her. He paused.
"...Yes?"
he said unemotionally.

Xantar said, and returned to the room he was in earlier.

Xantar said gently as he stroked her hair, before returning to a deep slumber.

(OOC: I got such a painful headache but never the less I nees to post)
Satfer was in much pain from the kicks. He was tough but they still hurt a lot! Still though, he wouldn't change his attitude.
"How long till I can move because I can't wait to knock our face in!"
Satfer lived a dangerious life always surrounded by death. if he died now it would make no differance to him then if he would have died tomorrow or yesterday.
"If you are going to kill me then just do it! I would rather have a swift death then to be bore to death by some retard nonsense spech about stupid bullshit!"

Dante smirked. "A roudy one. You'll be drugged for 5 more hours. Why don't I bring you along with me?" He picked him up and bowed to the human.
"Odd how I'd saved your life. Just remember, only one human has seen more more than twice." He said stoicly. He walked up to another room and knocked on it.
"You there?"

Era, still sleeping quite peacefully, until she saw a dream....one that she has seen so many times....

"Mommy!! Mommy! Where are you!?" a six year old Serenity yelled, lost in the streets. "Hey, little girl," A shaded man says behind her. "Huh? Um...Mister? Have you seen my Mommy? She's this tall!" Mini Era says, tippy-toeing reaching as high as he can. "No....but...I have a stuffed animal. Do you want it?" He says, showing her a stuffed kitty. "Yes mister!" Mini Era says. "Good girl, now just come over here." "But my Mommy says to not good to take things from strangers..." "Oh...well...nevermind, I'll just give it to someone else." "W-wait!! I-I still...um....want it..." Mini Era says walking towards the shadows, where the man stood, smirking, revealing a pointed fang which was hidden by the darkness.

Watching this scene once again for the past couple weeks, she cannot help but shiver under the covers everytime. She muttered..."...so....stupid......"

Xantar, just before his sleep, heard Era mumbling in hers.
"She and I are much more alike than I first thought... Interesting."
he hushedly spoke as he lay down andtried to get some sleep.
But, it was hard - Harder than usual.
Usually, he would try, but the painful memories would return, as they did today. but added today was the fatigue of over-exposure to the sun. This caused him physical pain, as well as the immense mental pain he was subjected to each and every single meaningless day of his pathetic existance.
