The door opened, and a bald Asian stood there. "Dante...? Oh! Your new weapon... And who is this?" He motioned to Satfer.
"Oh, another Vampire. You're training another one?"
Dante shurgged. "Maybe. He's a hotheaded one."

Dante carried Satfer in the room and closed the door.
"You wouldn't mind preparing Hell for this one would you? I'd like to see his potential."
The man laughed and pressed a button on the wall, revealing a secret chamber with lava.

(OOC: if you haven't noticed, Serenity is Era, and I'm describing her dreams just to keep myself occupied... -_-; don't mind the swears...just trying to keep the flow of the story. xD)

The man began to step back, further into the alley, while Serenity still went towards him. "Mister? Where did you go?" She said looking forward and back, until she felt someone's arms coil themselves around the little girl's mouth and waist. Stuggling to get free but didn't prevail, she has felt a jolt of pain surge through her neck. She tried to free herself from his grasp, but while doing so, she became weaker...lightheaded and faint. Senses blurred and she passed out. The man released her seconds later, tossing the stuffed animal at the fainted girl. "Let's see if you can survive...and let you see the life I've been through." He says disappearing. He didn't suck the life out of her, but have left some chance of survival, only as a vampire.

After his departure, Era again mumbled, "....you...bastard...."

Zanen led Misha through the empty streets. "we need to find a place to stay." He said calmly, noticing Misha's staggered walk. Misha returned no response, but strained to stay awake. They walked up to a musty apartment complex. It was rundown in parts, and Zanen figured there would be abandoned rooms. He comes up to one room, knocks, and then kicks down the door. It lands with a hollow thud, revealing a space full of trash and peeling wall paint. "This'll have to do." Zanen sighed, taking Misha's hand and leading her to the cleaner of the back room. "Just wait here ok? I'm going to go find some blankets for you." Misha gazed up, yawning and taking a seat in the corner. She glanced nervously around the room at all the garbage. As usual, she didn't speak. Zanen took a seat beside her and ruffled her hair. "I'll be right back. Don't go anywhere on me."
As if on Que, Misha turned and laid on her side, nervously watching the shadows dancing across the dark walls. Zanen then lept out the broken window, unfolding his wings on the other side. He took off towards the nearest shopping center.

[Serenity, six years later, 12 years old]
After the vampire meeting, she began to change a bit, her skin became almost pale, hair darker and her eyes, once filled with joy and life, became dull and cold. Her mother found her later that evening, and saw more changes in her, her appetite into raw food rather than the usual asking for cake, attitude, smile... she noticed these things quite fast and protected her no matter what. She told Serenity of her transformation...she was no longer human, but a vampire. As time past, her family stayed by her side, even though they feared her, but word has gone out intown and the people wanted Serenity dead. One day they have gotten too far and bardged into their home to get to her. One woman and a man aimed towards her with a knife, but her father ran in front and took the blow instead. It pierced through his heart. "Hmph. At least we got rid of a ver-supporter." "Hey what about them?" The pair chattered, pointing at Arthur and her mother. "Don't hurt them!!" Serenity bursts, grabbing onto the man's right arm that was holding the knife. "Cher, let's go make this little ver a little more...you know...." She smiled wickedly, "Of course..." The woman, Cher, ran towards the rest of the family, holding two knives, one in each hand. "This is for taking care of that..." stabbing the mother. "MOM!!!" Serenity yelled. "Now little boy, I'll give you a chance...run and don't ever let us see you with vers again, or you can die....here along with that," pointing at Serenity, while Arthur looked fearfully into the blood stained blade."I-I-I won't let you hurt my little sister!" "Well that's too bad, you ver-protector!!" she exclaims thrusting the jagged knife him. Serenity, leting go of the man's arm, blocked the blade's inital target, into her shoulder blade. "Arth-"

Era woke up abruptly, looking down onto her hands that were shaking. 'Don't want to see that again.... not ever...' Everytime she sleeps, she wakes up to prevent the continuation of that tragic event. Walking over to the mirror, she gazes at herself, seeing a wide-eyed, frightened little girl seven years ago, instead of the tear-stained, mess of a person she is now. Walking out of her room, she travels down the small hallway to see if Xantar was alright.
(OOC: very sleepy, hope this is descriptive enough....)

On his way back, Zanen noticed a group of humans huddled in the area. He took to the shadows to hide his form and snuck in through the main door. He noticed a girl wandering the halls. "Are you lost?" He asks quietly, folding his wings as close as possible behind him.

Zanen crossed his arms. "Well, ok then. Do you need help?" He shifted the pack he was carrying, making sure it was still intact.

Zanen gave a shrug. "OK then." He sunk into the shadows, hiding his form and continuing to his newly found room. Inside he found Misha watching the window intently. Slowly, he walked to her side, trying to see what had her so interested. She took no notice however, and continued to stare out into the darkness. "Is it the men you are looking at?" Zanen asks calmly. Misha gives a slight nod, flinching when Zanen touches her shoulder.
