Chapter 1: The Road to Dawn
This story contains three people from the forums. Took a while to figure out who my third person on this three-man cell. It runs as Me, Xaio and Sakura. FUFUFUFU!
I’ll throw in other forum dwellers as protractors or someone we beat the crap out of.

Ryu was on top of a hill where he could see Konohagure village. “Ahhh. Fresh air and we’ve finally made it. Chiyo! Kara! Come here!” He called back down the hill where two girls were. But first of all, Ryu had a Blue bandana, and a Martial arts jumpsuit. He wore his Hitai-ate on his shoulder. It bore a symbol of a Halo, a /, and Fire. In short, it looked something like Halo/Flame. Ryu was about 6 foot, had black hair, and he had green eyes.
The first girl, Chiyo, had short blonde hair that curved just at the neck. She had brown eyes, and a beautiful face. She was somewhat tall but not that much. She was about 5 foot 3 inches. Ok, we exaggerated. She’s short. But size isn’t a measurement of power is it? Anyway, she has a slender body and almost flat chest. Chiyo wore a short light blue kimono with short sleeves. She wore a similar Hitai-ate around her waist.
The second girl, Kara, had long blonde hair, bluish greenish eyes, and wore her Hitai-ate around her neck. Her face was beautiful in a similar way to Chiyo; however her face was more battle-like. She wore a short purple kimono with long sleves with shorts underneath. She was just a bit taller than Chiyo, but she was still shorter than Ryu.
“Well, of course we made it. I told you I saw it ages ago Ryu.” Kara said in a tired voice as she glanced up at the starry sky. Then both Kara and Chiyo glanced at Ryu, and then they giggled. Ryu looked confused for a bit.
“What’s so funny?” Ryu looked behind him and paused. “Oh.” There was a bear right there and it swiped at Ryu. Ryu blocked the blow with his left hand and glared at his teammates. “Next time, tell me there’s a bear, even if it’s extremely weak.”
Chiyo giggled as they caught up to Ryu. “But it’s so fun seeing you figure things out yourself.” This earned a reproving glare from Ryu. “How so?” He asked as his roundhouse kick sent the bear flying.
Kara sighed. “Because… you know.” She added giving him a knowing look. Ryu drew a katana. “Oh… Of course, but I’m saving it for the exams.” He sliced the bear in half. “Shall we go?” Asked Ryu as he wiped the blood on the grass. Kara and Chiyo nodded and followed him into the village. As they arrived at the gates, it was Dawn.
The guard came down and asked for their ID’s. Ryu, Chiyo and Kara all presented them and proceeded in to town. The guard thought about asking to see their Hitai-ate again seeing as he’s never seen it before, but he shrugged. “Probably some new puny Shinobi country.” He said as he went back to late-night guard duty.
“Now, where do you want to sleep?” Ryu asked his teammates although he was grinning at Chiyo.
“Uh I dun-… Wait, why are you looking at me like that!? OH! HOW DARE YOU!” Chiyo slapped him. Really hard.
Ryu staggered, and that was saying something. “OW! I didn’t mean it that way! I just know…” He began to grin. “That you were scared of the dark if you know what I mean…” Chiyo blushed and kicked him in the balls.
“SHUT IT. I still won’t forgive you for peeping on me and Kara at the hot springs yesterday!” Chiyo glared at him. Ryu stood up again and was still shaking.
“It wasn’t on purpose…” Ryu said softly. Then Kara slapped him too. “Don’t lie.”
“… Fine. I did. Let’s just go, I’m sleepy.” He leaped away quickly before Kara or Chiyo could hit him again. But when he was out of range, they giggled.
“Well I guess we should go too. A couple of hours of sleep before we go sign up for the Chunin exams will be enough.” Said Kara in her knowing voice. They then followed Ryu to an inn. They paid for separate rooms, and the fell asleep without a word to each other. They were now thinking about the orders they were issued.
Begin Flashback
The Kajikage called Ryu, Chiyo and Kara to his office. All three of them were bewildered. They arrived and he smiled at them grimly.
“Young ones, you three are the strongest Genin in our village, and it is time for you to begin your examination for Chunin.” He said as he shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
“Of course Kajikage-sama.” Replied the three Genin in unison.
“The Chunin… ‘exams’ we do here are usually various missions. This is yours.” He stood up and pulled out a map before sitting back down. He spread it out and pointed to Konohagure. “In Konohagure, they are currently hosting their own Chunin exams. I wish for you to journey there and take part in it.”
Ryu seemed puzzled. “But Kajikage-sama, we usually don’t leave the village at all. So why are we resurfacing?”
The Kajikage paused for a bit before answering. “We received a mission from Konohagure, and they are worried that the sound village will look for another chance to attack them even with the peace treaty in effect.”
This time, Chiyo asked a question. “With all due respect Kajikage-sama, but couldn’t they do that? Why us?”
Kajikage smiled shrewdly. “My young Chiyo, this is why I chose to take on the mission. The world has forgotten us, except our only ally, Konohagure. I intend to remind them who… made them who they are.”
Ryu grinned. “I see. So this mission is intimidation?”
The Kajikage nodded. “Yes. Now go forth. I have already informed your family, and the exams start in 2 days.”
Kara almost jumped. “T-two days? But we won’t get there by foot in time…”
Kajikage glanced at her in amazement. “You forgot about Ryu’s Kekkei Genkai already?”
Ryu grinned at her. “And I thought you were smart.” She gave him a death glare.
End Flashback.
Meanwhile…
The 7th Hokage was looking over the village. He saw the three children enter the inn. “So they came. Hah! Thing’s will be interesting!” He grinned like a child.
